"I really enjoy getting involved in the different community initiatives SHS offers its employees. There are so many CR programmes to choose from which ensures there is something for everyone. I recently took part in the Business in the Community ‘Give & Gain’ project which involved a number of people showcasing their creative talents as we painted at a local school. I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside colleagues from other teams. It is very satisfying and rewarding to have taken part in an activity that gives something back to the local community. This in turn was a great opportunity to put our SPIRIT values into action!”

"I joined the SHS Group in early 2013, initially as a university student on a year placement within The Crucial Sauce Co Ltd based in Birmingham and learnt about the business through a brief operational role before leading the Technical department to obtain the sites first BRC accreditation. Having worked three days a week during my final year at university and graduating in May 2015, I then moved into the BPS Northampton technical team as a Retail Technologist looking after major UK retail technical accounts alongside a factory focus driving continuous improvement. Over the years the Group has continued to provide me with opportunities and supported me with training to expand my skill set.”

"I have been afforded numerous opportunities in my time here with the Group supporting my career throughout. My first role was in SHS Sales & Marketing GB managing their Wholesale Field Sales Team. The Group investment in our SAP platform opened up a unique opportunity for me in many ways. I relocated to Belfast with my family and worked on the project for 2 years during which time I was able to gain new skills and knowledge of other Group businesses – whilst experiencing life in Northern Ireland. On my return from Belfast I integrated back into SHS Sales & Marketing GB as Trading Controller for our Farmlea and Private Label business and most recently moved across to our Condiments & Sauces division heading up the Crucials Sauces business. The Group’s divisional nature comprising of a number of different businesses means that there are always opportunities for learning… And it’s a great place to work!”
