2024 BITC NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey

We are delighted to have maintained our position at Silver Level in the 2024 Business in the Community NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey for the second year in a row.

At SHS, sustainability remains a central focus across our Group. We are committed to driving progress in five key areas: energy, water, waste, packaging and sustainable sourcing. Over the past year, we have enhanced our reporting and transparency, educated and empowered our colleagues, collaborated with our supply chain to reduce environmental impact and made significant progress on our journey toward Net Zero.

Taking part in the NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey enables organisations to publicly demonstrate their commitment to being environmentally responsible and transparent, and the process and results allow organisations to examine and reflect on their environmental performance to drive improvements.

We are proud to be one of the leading 132 NI-based organisations that took part in the survey.
