Job Description

The IS Applications team is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join the team. This role will report to the BI Team Lead. The successful candidate will primarily focus on SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) technologies, while also supporting operational reporting requirements using Microsoft tools such as Excel and Power Automate. They will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise data models and reports using SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Support and enhance operational reporting through Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, and Power Query.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI platforms.
  • Work closely with the wider BI team to align reporting solutions with business strategy.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and dashboards.
  • Contribute to data governance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong project management capabilities within an Information Systems environment.
  • Act as a competent facilitator, supporting internal teams and cross-functional groups in problem resolution, strategic alignment, partnership development, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP technologies, including SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), delivering insightful reports and dynamic dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong capabilities in complex formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query for data transformation and analysis.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and BI best practices.
  • Adept at working both independently and collaboratively in high-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, enabling clear and impactful data storytelling.
  • Familiarity with advanced SAP technologies, including SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Data Services.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy and compliance frameworks, particularly GDPR.
  • Prior experience within the FMCG industry, with insight into its data and operational dynamics.
